Settlement, 1884
In September 1880, Mulla Muhammad Hadi, the son of Aqa Muhammad Mahdi, with his two brothers, Muhammad Riza Bayg and ‘Abd al-Majid, and his wife, Bibi Qamar al-Sultan, acting as witnesses, knowingly sells properties to Haji Mulla Lutf Allah, the son of Mulla Fazl‘ali, below market price. Subsequently, there is a dispute over the extent of price differential and other verbally agreed upon conditions. After much negotiation, the parties reach a settlement on 28 September 1884.

Bibi Khanum Bihjat, the daughter of Haji Mirza Muhammad Hashim, known as Haji Mirza Aqa Mustawfi, and the wife of Aqa Mirza ‘Ali the secretary, has transferred all her belongings, the value of which ranges between one to three thousand tumans, with no exceptions, to her mother Shari‘at al-Hajiyah, the daughter of Haj Mirza Aqa, the former representative of Shiraz, in exchange for one thousand dinars.

Marriage contract of Raf‘at Khan [um], daughter of Hujjat al-Islam Aqa Shaykh Muhammad Kazim Shirazi, and Aqa Sayyid ‘Abd al-Husayn Dashtistani, son of Haji Sayyid Murtaza Dashtistani. The mahr was one hundred and fifty Ottoman lira, fifty of which was paid in advance and the rest of which was due. There are some marginal notes with different dates, signed by Raf‘at Shirazi, stating that she had received parts of the remaining mahr.

According to a previous document of inheritance and settlement, a house located in the Sang-i Siyah neighborhood of Shiraz, including the yard, trees, a well, and a kitchen, had been transferred from Mulla Lutf Allah, the son of the late Mulla Fazl‘ali, to his wife, Bibi Husná Jan, and his two daughters, Bibi Mah Tal‘at and Bibi Jiliyyah.
